My First 4 Poems at Hubpages
64These are my first four poems I am sharing with all of you at hubpages. Actually, I wrote these back in the year 2008 but still these were lying somewhere in my heart so I thought to share them with you. Before you read these, I would like to say something about poems and poetry. I think poetry is an art which cannot be achieved by simple writers. The famous poems you find in the books and old literature are still read by millions of people around the world just because they were unique, different, and the most important thing is that they still touch your heart in some way or other. Though I have tried to use my creativity in these poems, but still you, my readers, are the best judge of my poems. So read them and give me some feedback to help me become an aspiring poet in the coming future.
The Art of Living
Anything and everything the world would try, to ruin you to make you cry.
The world will doubt your honesty; the world will question your loyalty.
They will celebrate your defeat and will leave you in the heat.
For your failures, they will pray and to ruin you, they will find a way.
But in between these people, you have to survive and with your attitude make them alive.
A Tribute To My Grandfather
Four years have gone since you died.
But still, I have your memories to keep myself alive.
I can remember those days when we used to go for walks.
And I tend to frustrate you with my useless childish talks.
And when I used to lose my energy, you carried me on your back.
And like an old humble man, walked slowly through the track.
I can remember those days when we used to play cards.
And with those games, I also lose my heart.
But, then you cheered me up with your inspiring proverbs
And transferred me to a tree from a short bushy shrub
And that poor day, I can also remember.
When of this green earth, you were no more a member.
I cried and cried knowing this fact that you were gone.
But, just these memories make my life go on.
Dilemma of My Life
Why I live when I have to die?
Why I question when there will be no reply?
Why I search for light when I am in dark?
Why I look for small fishes when I have a big shark?
Why I pray for day when it is night?
Why I feel I am wrong when I am right?
Why I laugh when I want to cry?
Why I say hello when I finally have to say good bye?
Why I want everything what I can’t gain?
Why I smile when I am in pain?
Why I see dreams when I know they will be broken?
Why I sleep when everyone is awoken?
Why I blame others when I have committed a mistake?
Why I teach others when my individuality is fake?
Why I wish to be a king when I know my fate?
Why I love those who deserve my hate?
Why can’t I do what I believe?
Why shall I die when I want to live?
I Will Be With You
You will not only walk, but also fly sky high.
Success will be yours in whatever you try
Yes, you will succeed, my child in whatever you do
Because at every stage of your life I will be with you.
I will pick you up whenever you will fall
And at the end you will stand tall.
Surpassing all the hindrances you will pass through
Because at every stage of your life, I will be with you.
The world might be misguiding, but not this father of yours
I won’t let you experience the feeling of remorse.
Don’t you worry my child when the whole world will be against you.
Because at every stage of your life I will be with you.
I will help you, dear from beneath of my soul
And one day, you will make me proud by achieving your goal.
And even after my demise, I will be there somewhere around you.
Because at every stage of your life, I will be with you.

I like your poems, and I really like your poem "The Art Of Living" I was inspired by that one. "you have to survive and with your attitude make them alive." You reminded me to keep going emotionally amidst life's struggles and how we bring light by doing so.

Very nice, onethousandpoems. I especially like:
"And when I used to lose my energy, you carried me on your back.
And like an old humble man, walked slowly through the track."
Very visual.
